Plant & Machinery (P&M) or Machines as we call it is extremely critical in maintaining, servicing, and tracking all your machinery involved.  As you probably are aware, a lot of pilferage happens here in regards to machinery parts as well as diesel consumption. To be truthful to our goal of mitigating theft/spillage to the fullest, we have created a robust P&M module in mind.

Obviously, just as any software you must follow a series of processes that we have defined in order to achieve that goal of avoiding pilferage. To that extent, the module is managed through four different sub systems.

a.Daily Tracker

Daily Tracker – as the name suggests provides you with an ability to track events that happen on a daily basis. The software provides you with a feature to input all the data for a particular machine, most importantly the Hour Meter starting/ending and Fuel used, and distance it traveled. The time is captured as well to provide you with an accurate analysis of when the readings were taken and so on and so forth.

After you add the data, you will get to see a tabulated list of the features below and our whole software is designed to provide you with an ease of usage.  The data for values that are “ending” are added after the machine run hours (say 24 hours or so), like the Closing time and Fuel Meter End etc.,

Data can be easily added with just a single click. You can easily notice on the listing those machines that weren’t updated to give you a sense of accountability to those who are supposed to do it.

b.Service Tracker

Service Tracker provides a distinct ability for you to track the vehicles that are in various stages of ‘in-service’ modes and their start time along with copious notes that can be written in regards to the operational condition of the aforementioned vehicles.

The list obtained below would give you an overall ability to track the time taken of a service and the reasons for why some of them are delayed. Once again, this provides a way to manage the accountability part of those who are in-charge of vehicle maintenance so that you can keep your P&M running smooth as always.

c.Machine Details

This is a very critical part of the module. Here whenever the vehicle is purchased all relevant information like its make, model, engine number, chassis number, vin number, the insurance expiry date.  There is a huge advantage of ensuring all the details enter are accurate, because the software notifies you a month before your insurance expires and when the FC gets to be renewed. This helps you to make your life a bit easier so that you don’t have all the information on your fingertips.

To conclude, by utilizing this module, you can run your P&M smoothly without any worries as long as the data is periodically entered and records maintained. If this module is used properly, you can actually save money in terms of mileage, fuel consumption along with service tracking and most importantly avoiding huge legal hassle by allowing insurance to expire and so on and so forth.
